A quick reminder to those who have not yet completed their surveys, to please fill them in by 4 May 2026. The survey allows you to confirm your order; it is quick and should not take more than a couple of minutes.  We will be locking orders on 5 May 2026.

Thank you everyone!

We did it!

Roll for Refreshments has officially wrapped, and we just want to say thank you. Whether you backed the project, followed along, or shared it with others, you helped bring this to life.

What started as a simple idea, making tavern scenes more fun and less stressful for GMs, turned into something small but mighty thanks to your support. Seeing so many people excited about adding flavour to their tables has been incredible.

Now that the campaign has wrapped, we’re moving on to the next step, backer surveys.

These will be sent out in 14 days via BackerKit and are how we’ll collect the details we need to deliver your rewards. If you backed the project, keep an eye on your inbox.

What You Need to Do

When the survey arrives:

  • Confirm your pledge
  • Check your email details
  • Complete the survey so we can deliver your files smoothly

It only takes a minute, but it’s an important step to make sure everything reaches you without any issues.

What Happens Next?

We’re now moving into the final stretch:

  • Final edits and polish
  • Layout tweaks and formatting
  • Preparing your digital files for delivery

Most of the work is already done, so our focus is on making sure everything is clean, easy to use, and ready for your table.

What You’ll Be Getting

Soon, you’ll have access to:

  • 100 Tavern Foods
  • 100 Drinks
  • 100 Desserts
  • Bonus: How Does It Taste?

We know there are many projects out there, and it means a lot that you chose to support this one.

We can’t wait to hear about the strange meals, memorable taverns, and unexpected moments that come out of your games.

Until then we’ll see you at the tavern.

Holidays = TTRPG time (or is that just me?)
2 months ago – Thu, Apr 02, 2026 at 02:36:01 AM

Spring is here, and with it come moments to slow down, gather, and enjoy time with the people around us. Whether you’re celebrating Easter, Passover, or simply the change of season, it’s a perfect excuse to bring friends and family together.

It’s also a great time to roll some dice. TTRPGs are one of our favourite ways to share stories, laugh, and create memorable moments, whether it’s a full session or just a quick tavern scene between meals and celebrations. The kids in my family still talk about the impromptu Spiderman and My Little Pony-themed games we played a few Christmases ago.

Here's a quick prompt, should you be looking for inspiration.

The tavern is bursting with visitors. There is a festival or event in town, and the rooms are packed.
The tavern owner's money bag goes missing from the locked safe.

Who did it?

  • The famous thief who is in town visiting a sick aunt? The safe was locked, after all.
  • The wizard's apprentice who has just learned about dimensional portals. Could be that they are trying to make a name for themselves, plus spell components are expensive.
  • The ex.
  • business partner with a grudge. The combination to the safe was not changed since they parted ways on bad terms.

And now a question for you - if you find yourself with a bit of time and good company, what is your favourite TTRPG to play a quick off-the-cuff game?

Roll for Refreshments is funded!

Thanks to our amazing community, Roll for Refreshments: The Ultimate d100 Tavern Menu is off to a fantastic start!

Within 48 hours of launching, we hit our goal, and a week later, we have exceeded it. And we’re now pushing toward our next milestone: €100.

We've been working on the Drinks table this week, and this is a sneak peek at one of my favourites: Gelatinous Slushy. Refreshing and tingly on the way down.

Thanks again for supporting Hero Level Games and helping us bring this project to life. We’re excited to keep building this with you.

Cheers,

Hero Level Games
